AHMADPUR SIAL: Flood situation in the Chenab river after Indian water aggression rose the water level at the Garh Maharaja Bahu Bridge on Tuesday, BOL News reported. 

According to the report, due to the increase in water level, the residents living inside the inner protective area of the bridge were badly affected by the floods. Crops standing on hundreds of acres are underwater, and animal fodder is affected and not able to be used. The locals were confined to their houses, suffering from a lack of fodder for their animals.

Furthermore, the administration could not establish a relief camp for flood victims. Neither the rescue departments nor the provincial department of health could voice or support the flood-hit area victims of the Indian water aggression. Locals in the Ahmadpur sial told BOL News that the administration is nowhere to be seen in the flood areas and demanded that the district administration take notice and set up a flood relief camp.

While talking to the locals of the flood-hit areas, the affected told BOL News that due to the floods, they have lost the necessities for themselves and their livestock animals. The residents asked for fodder for the animals and medicine items for the children who are badly affected by the floods.
