Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again threatened military action in northern Syria.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Monday, President Erdogan said attacks still continue on the area reserved for the safe zone from Syria”, saying “We can’t be more tolerant. These attacks are a clear violation of agreements”  he said.

Erdogan said his government would continue to support the national federal government in Libya. Soon we will hear a good news from Libyan government. The meeting also discussed the ongoing pandemic situation in Turkey and looked into the matter to ease lockdown restrictions.

Travel restrictions in seven low risk cities of Turkey, namely Antalya, Aydin, Erzurum, Hatay, Malatya, Mersin, and Mugla, will be eased gradually. He said that the travel ban for the elderly and youth would also be free from the next week.

However, shopping centres and salons will reopen in the country on May 11, while aged people over age 65 will be allowed to stroll outside for four hours a day, said Erdogan.

The Turkish government has provided COVID-19 relief aid to 57 countries, including the US, Italy, Spain and the UK. It remains the world’s third-largest humanitarian aid provider during these crucial times of pandemic.

Moreover, Pakistan International Airline (PIA)’s special flight has returned the country carrying Pakistanis stranded in Turkey. According to the details, 284 stranded Pakistanis in Turkey have returned home via PIA flight PK-784. When the flight landed at Islamabad International Airport, all incoming passengers screened and medically examined in accordance with the rules and regulations.
