The world’s top aviation hubs in the year 2020 have been revealed in the annual Skytrax World Airport Awards.
However, what would come as a surprise to virtually no one Singapore Changi Airport has the eighth year in the row that has crowned as “World’s Best Airport.”
Moreover, the Tokyo Haneda airport has also earned about the second place, and the Doha’s Hamad International Airport has risen to the number of the three spots. Also, the awards that have been made by collecting customers’ votes in the global airport for getting a customer satisfaction survey. It was originally be scheduled in taking place on April 01 at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris but cancelled due to the coronavirus.
As an alternative in the year 2020, the award announcement was made on the month of May 10 through a ceremony that has taken place to live in the YouTube app.
“Having deferred the award announcements for nearly six weeks, we felt it was now right to try and bring some cheer into the airport industry in these difficult times,” said Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax, in a statement.

However, the customers of syntax come from more than 100 various countries that have been participated in the survey, and it was conducted from the month of September 2019 to the month of February 2020 that has covered around 550 airports.
