Queen Elizabeth II is said to have turned down Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s plan to live half inside and half outside the palace.

During an interview with the media, royal correspondent Richard Palmer said that the late monarch, Charles, and the Prince of Wales at the time were afraid of “disaster” happening again.

Before, the Earl and Countess of Wessex were the ones who made people angry.

Richard told us: “The key thing is that the Queen, supported by the then-Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, and the Duke of Cambridge and other members of the family, took the view that you can’t be half-in, half-out.”
