Fire broke out on the stage at a wedding reception

In Pakistan, lavishly decorated weddings have grown popular. Everyone’s ideal setting consists of a brightly illuminated hall and a lavishly adorned stage. Well, an electrical spark caused the stage at a recent wedding in Gujranwala to catch fire. The event occurred when the stage’s lighting caught fire; the stage was laden with plastic flowers, which also caught fire. The fire was extinguished and everyone remained safe during the wedding.

Irfan Ahson, an accomplished and gifted Pakistani photographer, uploaded the video. Irfan wrote, “Posting for public awareness,” in response to his statement that he had released the video for public awareness. I’ve witnessed this occurrence a few times. Please exercise caution when utilising cold fire or pointing highly powerful lighting rods too close to artificial flowers. Not sure whose event that was, but I hope everyone was safe.”

Many individuals expressed alarm after viewing the video. Numerous social media users expressed their opinions on inappropriate wedding rituals. The public was of the opinion that despite charging millions of rupees, these marquees do not include emergency control equipment such as sufficient fire extinguishers and improved lighting. They were particularly concerned about the unskilled crew that was barely able to handle the issue. People believed that citizens should not utilise fireworks as well.
