Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, and Kate Winslet spoke at the global press conference of Avatar: The Way of Water. Fans were thrilled to see Saldana and Worthington reprise their roles as Neytiri and Jake after the first film, and the characters still hold a special place in their hearts.

Zoe Saldana’s return to Neytiri
Zoe Saldana was questioned about returning to the role of Neytiri and how she got into the mentality of the strong character from the first film. Neytitri is a mother in the sequel, so she’s more protective of her family. Saldana said returning to Neytiri wasn’t easy “Scary. Funny how you can’t notice something comparable to you.”
