Gwyneth Paltrow is relaxing in the sun with her kid. The 50-year-old creator of Goop was photographed in Barbados with 18-year-old Apple Martin swimming in the sea.

Both mother and daughter sported two-piece solid-color swimsuits, with Paltrow choosing a black bikini and her daughter donning a lime green one.

Martin is currently enrolled in college on the East Coast, so the Oscar winner appears to enjoy spending time with her children.

Paltrow reportedly equated giving birth to seeing her oldest child leave home for college.

“I know this sounds nuts, [but] it feels almost as profound,” the “Shakespeare in Love” star explained during a “CBS This Morning” interview.

When they got back together for a “wonderful few days” in New York City last month, the couple showed off their close bond by going out to dine and shopping together.

It’s a little ritual we have that we get a new piercing on Martin’s birthday every year, Paltrow confessed last year.

The teen also has no problem poking fun at her well-known mother. Martin mocked her mother’s wellness-focused daily ritual on Goop’s TikTok account in August 2021.

Martin made light of the fact that Paltrow “eats nothing but dates and nut butter” and has, “supposedly, been on a cleanse since the day I was born.”

Paltrow’s oldest child with her ex-husband, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, is a college student. Moses, a 16-year-old son, is another child they have together.

The former couple wed in 2003 and described their separation as a “conscious uncoupling” in March 2014.
