Famous Personalities Who Passed This Year (2022). While we bid farewell to the eventful year of 2022, let us remember some of the major figures we lost this year throughout the world, including Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September.
This exciting year of 2022 witnessed big ups and downs, wars and revolutions, trends and tragedies, and as we say goodbye, let us commemorate some of the significant international personalities who died this year.
The most surprising death in September was that of Britain’s longest-serving monarch. In her 70 years on the throne, she helped modernise the monarchy through decades of significant social upheaval, royal weddings and births, and family scandals.
Throughout the world, there was an outpouring of grief and respect.
“Queen Elizabeth had a life well lived, a promise with destiny kept, and she is grieved most bitterly in her demise. I renew my commitment to lifetime service to you all today. “Her passion and devotion as sovereign never wavered, even amid times of change and growth, joy and celebration, and pain and loss,” King Charles remarked.
