Separatist leader visits injured Russian troops in Makiivka
The commander of the self-declared, Russian-backed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) claimed to have visited wounded servicemen in Makiivka.
Denis Pushilin claimed to have visited a hospital in Rostov, Russia, where wounded servicemen are receiving care.
Only “three people remained in the republic. The rest were already transported to Rostov and then to other regions of the Russian Federation,” said Pushilin in a Telegram post.
Pushilin claimed that he went to see the soldiers alongside Viktor Goremykin, who is the Deputy Defense Minister of Russia.
