Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are repaying the kind reception they received when they arrived in Saudi Arabia earlier this week by embracing the Arab culture.

The football hero seems to have quickly acclimated to his “new home” at Al Nassr Club, donning his yellow No. 7 jersey with pride and beaming broadly during his first days of training with his new teammates.

Particularly among Al Nassr’s supporters, the excitement surrounding his great appearance on Tuesday has not yet subsided, and many could still clearly recall the first Arabic words he uttered in public.

He exclaimed, “Ana Aalamy (I am globally well-known),” drawing shouts and cries from the throngs of supporters gathering in Mrsool Park in Riyadh.

The football team’s moniker, Ana Aalamy or A’ALAMY (I am global), originated when it became the first Asian club to qualify for the Fifa Club World Cup in 2000.

Ronaldo’s children and partner Georgina Rodriguez, who looked lovely in an abaya, flanked him during the unveiling ceremony.

Many people have praised how the model and social media sensation rocked the traditional robe-like outfit in viral photos of her.

The last time a famous person from around the world wore an Arabic robe, social media went wild.

But Rodriguez wore the abaya with ease over a black turtleneck, high-waisted denim jeans, and dazzling diamond earrings.

Due to disciplinary proceedings taken against him by the English Football Association during Manchester United’s 1-0 loss to Everton in April, the Portuguese star has been suspended for two games.
