Teresa Giudice admitted on the most recent episode of the Namaste B$tches podcast that Shah is someone she “can not relate” to despite the fact that she has also gone through her fair share of legal troubles and served just over 11 months of a sentence in prison in 2015 for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud.

Giudice, 50, said to Melissa Pfeister, a fellow podcast presenter, “I would not steal anybody’s money.” “I would not carry out that. I would never take that action. That is awful.”

Giudice continued, “But what do you say to your kids to that when you are taking from someone and the kids could see this and be like, ‘Mom, well why’d you do this’?”

The podcaster and her ex-husband Joe Giudice have four daughters together: Gia, 22, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 13. Giudice stated that the only thing Shah can do while serving her sentence is “keep it together.” Giudice has been a regular of the show since her 2009 debut on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

According to Matthew Lee of Inner City Press, Shah will start serving her sentence on February 17. Shah will serve out her term in a facility in the “Texas region,” though U.S. District Judge Sidney Stein did not clarify this during Shah’s court hearing on Friday.

According to Matthew Lee of Inner City Press, Judge Stein additionally mandated that Shah spend five years of supervised release following her release from jail in order “to make sure you do not wind up committing another crime.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s legal future was discussed in a statement made by her attorney to after Friday’s sentencing.

“Jen Shah deeply regrets the mistakes that she has made and is profoundly sorry to the people she has hurt. Jen has faith in our justice system, understands that anyone who breaks the law will be punished, and accepts this sentence as just. Jen will pay her debt to society and when she is a free woman again, she vows to pay her debt to the victims harmed by her mistakes,” read the statement.
