Four of a family killed due to asphyxia in Abbottabad
ABBOTTABAD: Four members of a family were killed because of asphyxia as the room got filled with gas in Qalandrabad Mastt area of Abbottabad, Bol News reported on Thursday.
The deceased include husband, wife and two daughters. The incident took place within limits of Maangal police station.
The locals shifted all the bodies to the Ayub Teaching Hospital. The neighbours said the incident took place due to leakage of gas in the room.
On January 11, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mukhtiar Hussain Mulghani and his four family members were killed when their car collided with a trailer on the National Highway near Khanozai, Pishin district.
According to the Levies sources, the accident had occurred due to overspeeding. Besides DSP Mulhani, his wife, a son and two daughters were among the dead. The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
DSP Mukhtiar Mulghani was the Wing Commander of Balochistan Constabulary, Loralai.
Nn the other hand, the Karachi traffic police had managed to control fatal and non-fatal accidents better during the year 2022 when compared to the year 2021. However, a slight decrease was witnessed in the amount generated from challans issued in the previous year.
To upgrade the Karachi traffic police along modern lines, some major projects were under way, which included the automation of traffic light signals and the installation of cameras at major thoroughfares, such as Sharea Faisal, as part of the e-challan system.
