Rihanna teases fans with super bowl LVII halftime show trailer
Rihanna is teasing fans about what to expect for her highly anticipated halftime show with less than a month till the Super Bowl LVII.
The 34-year-old singer of “Consideration” debuted an official teaser trailer for her headlining performance on February 12 on Friday.
The singer is shown in the 30-second film as a silhouette in a big, empty space. She then starts to advance as she listens to what her fans are saying.
“We’ve been waiting for you, Rihanna,” one voice exclaimed. Another person said, “The nine-time Grammy winner hasn’t released an album in six years.”
Finally, the camera focuses on Rihanna, who is dressed in a green fur coat, a black costume underneath, and substantial silver jewelry. She indicates silence before the start of her 2016 song “Needed Me.”
In September, the celebrity announced that she would perform at the halftime show. She just posted an image on Instagram at the moment.
The hand that looks to be Rihanna’s was holding a Wilson Duke football in the picture. The performer of “Umbrella” added just one period to the caption.
“Being a person of modest origins who has consistently outperformed expectations, Rihanna is a generational talent. a person who was raised on the tiny island of Barbados and went on to become one of history’s most well-known artists. Self-made in entertainment and business, “According to The Hollywood Reporter, JAY-Z, who previously agreed to lead the NFL’s musical entertainment, stated in a statement.
According to the source, NFL Head of Music Seth Dudowsky said, “We are excited to welcome Rihanna to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show stage. “A cultural force her entire career, Rihanna is a once-in-a-generation artist. We are excited to work with Apple Music, Roc Nation, and Rihanna to provide the fans with yet another historical Halftime Show performance.”
After giving birth to her first child with A$AP Rocky in May, Rihanna released “Lift Me Up,” her first song in nearly seven years, in October.
The song pays homage to the late actor Chadwick Boseman and is included on the soundtrack for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
For the big day, the fashion mogul also unveiled a Savage X Fenty Game Day collection.
Everything from sweatshirts to beanies to jerseys featuring Rihanna is part of the collection. The phrase “Rihanna performance interrupted by a football game, odd but whatever” is printed on a cheeky t-shirt. A picture of Rihanna wearing a football helmet can be found on the inside of the shirt.
