While promoting her HBO series The Last of Us, Bella Ramsey recently went into more detail on gender identity.

I guess my gender has always been quite flexible, the Game of Thrones star said in a recent interview with The New York Times.

She shared, “Someone would call me ‘she’ or ‘her’ and I wouldn’t think about it. But I knew that if someone called me ‘he,’ it was a bit exciting.”

When completing out documents, Ramsey noted that she frequently checked the “non-binary choice rather than he or she boxes.”

“I’m very much just a person,” remarked the 19-year-old.

“Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like,” the young actress continued. But I truly don’t give a damn about pronouns.

Ramsey’s subsequent appearance will be in The Last of Us, which will broadcast on HBO tomorrow.
