KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-P (MQM-P) on Thursday appointed Mustafa Kamal, Farooq Sattar and Nasreen Jalil as the senior deputy conveners and Anis Qaimkhani as deputy convener of the party, Bol News reported.
The MQM-P issued a circular in this regard.
On January 17, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-P (MQM-P) leader Wasim Akhtar had blamed the Election Commission of Pakistan and Sindh government of pre-poll rigging in the local government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad.
It is pertinent here to mention that on the eve of Karachi local bodies elections, the MQM-P had announced to boycott the polls over delimitation issue.
Talking to media, the former Karachi mayor had said people rejected them and did not cast vote. He had said the ECP failed in the LB polls and the elections would be remembered as a black spot. The people of Karachi and Hyderabad were stabbed in the back, he had maintained.
He had said the ECP smashed wishes of the Karachiites. He had alleged that people were stamping ballot papers in the streets. They tried to occupy Karachi and Hyderabad through fake mandate, he had added.
