Juventus defeated Lazio 1-0 on Thursday to go to the Coppa Italia semi-finals. Gleison Bremer scored the game-winning goal.

Just before halftime, Bremer made a well-timed run into the box to connect with a cross from Filip Kostic and head the ball into the goal for the hosts.

For most of the game, neither team could generate many chances, but Juventus largely controlled the pace.

Lazio never genuinely threatened to score an equalizer and lacked the ferocity to test Juventus’ well-organized defense.

After defeating Atalanta 1-0, Massimiliano Allegri’s team will play Inter Milan in the two-leg semifinals.

The other matchup in the final four will feature Cremonese, who eliminated AS Roma, taking on Fiorentina.
