At least 6 Afghan civilians, including a woman and 2 children, have been killed in a roadside bomb on Sunday in Afghanistan. The incident had happened in the southern Helmand province. No group has claimed responsibility.
Omar Zwak, the spokesman for Helmand’s governor, said that another woman in the vehicle was wounded in a blast in Washer district. He had accused the Taliban of the attack.
On the other hand, 2 employees of Afghanistan’s human rights commission were killed in a roadside bomb in Kabul on Saturday.
The commission released a statement in which it said that Fatima Khalil, 24, a donor liaison officer, and Jawid Folad, 41, a driver, were the victims of the attack. No group had claimed responsibility.
Violence in Afghanistan has increased in recent days.
