Khloe Kardashian receives backlash for praising Tristan Thompson for being “best father”

Tristan Thompson received praise from Khloe Kardashian for being the “best father” even though he has no ties with one of his sons. Tristan Thompson was Khloe Kardashian’s former serial cheater boyfriend.

For praising the NFL athlete even after he repeatedly cheated on her and fathered a child with Maralee Nichols while dating Khloe, the reality TV star drew backlash on social media.

After she wished Tristan a happy birthday, fans of the star of The Kardashians pointed out that while he may have supported the children he shares with her, his relationship with his child with Maralee is “nonexistent.”

Khloe posted several pictures of Tristan with their two children, True and their newborn son, as well as his son Prince, whom he has with Jordan Craig, on Instagram along with a heartfelt ode to him.

“Happy birthday @realtristan13,” she penned. “You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them.”

“All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles. My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation.

Khloe deleted the comment part of her post, however Twitter people lambasted her while invoking the name of Theo, Tristan and Maralee’s baby.

“@khloekardashian how can Tristan be the best father if he has abandoned one of his children?!” one user pointed out.

Another mocked the Good American co-founder, writing, “Not @khloekardashian calling Tristan best dad [laughing emoji] the world really coming to an end.”

“Khloe Kardashian. You better turn them comments off on your Insta post about Tristan being a good dad. You forgot about that new baby huh!!?? He hasn’t even met that one!!” one wrote.
