Father arrested over murder of his son

• The child’s father filed missing case in Saudabad police station.
• The body of 8-year-old Aman was found in Bhains Colony.
• During investigation it was revealed that child was killed by his father.

KARACHI: Police arrested a father over killing his 8-year-old son in the Saudabad area of Karachi and the accused confessed to murder during the investigation.

The body of 8-year-old Aman was found in the Bhains Colony of Karachi on October 18. The child’s father filed a missing case in Saudabad police station on October 23.

The investigating authorities said that during the investigation it was revealed that the child was killed by his father Amir. The accused had first tortured and later killed the child on October 17. He dumped the body in the Bhains Colony.

In the investigation, it was found that the accused had given his child to a close friend for grooming. A few days before the murder, the child had come home to meet his mother, the accused tortured the child for not calling him papa and then murdered him.
