Matt Ulrich’s path to the NFL embodied determination and resilience. Starting as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts, he demonstrated his skills during the 2005 and 2006 seasons, ultimately securing a Super Bowl victory when the Colts defeated the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI—a crowning achievement for any pro football player.

Despite his relatively brief NFL career, consisting of just ten games spanning two seasons, Ulrich made a lasting impression on colleagues and fans alike.

Following his NFL tenure, which included a season in NFL Europe, Ulrich embarked on his post-football journey, emphasizing the importance of preparing for life beyond the gridiron.

After retiring from football, Ulrich relocated to Montana, where he assumed the role of Chief Growth Officer and Partner at PIE. Additionally, he pursued educational opportunities, earning certifications from prestigious institutions like Stanford and Harvard Business School.

Ulrich, a former Northwestern team captain, is remembered not only for his athletic achievements but also for his dedication to his family, which includes his four young sons, as well as his contributions to the community.
