Gregory Yetman, a former New Jersey National Guard police sergeant, is being investigated as officials explore a wooded location in New Jersey for his role in the January 6 U.S. Capitol incident. After fleeing his Helmetta house after an attempted arrest on November 8, 2023, Yetman remains at large, with helicopters and FBI investigators patrolling the area.

Yetman, 47, was born on October 20, 1976, and graduated from Middlesex College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice and a bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Administration and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland Global Campus. His military career spans 13 years, including duty in Afghanistan and numerous capacities in the United States Army.

Yetman has been married for two decades and keeps his wife’s identity confidential, although he does share glimpses of his family on Facebook, revealing a daughter. He achieved a net worth of $600,000 by 2023 as the former owner of Yetman Excavating. The pursuit of Yetman, a crucial figure in the Capitol Riot, escalates as he tries to elude investigators.
