Nawaz Sharif directs KP, Sindh leaders to end differences
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has directed party leadership from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Sindh to promptly resolve their differences.
The party sources reported that Nawaz Sharif intervened to address internal conflicts within the party’s leadership in KP and Sindh provinces.
Notably, he has linked his visits to these provinces to the unity of the party’s provincial organizations, emphasizing that he will not visit until the internal matters are fully settled.
To ensure party cohesion, Nawaz Sharif has issued instructions to prevent dissatisfied leaders from joining other political parties in both KP and Sindh.
The responsibility of reconciling differences among party leaders in Sindh has been assigned to PML-N’s Sindh Provincial President, Bashir Memon.
Memon has initiated meetings to address the concerns of discontented party leaders.
In KP, the task of fostering unity among party leaders has been entrusted to retired Captain Muhammad Safdar.
Captain Safdar has commenced a series of meetings with disgruntled party leaders, actively encouraging them to rejoin the party.
Additionally, Captain Safdar is engaging with political families in KP to strengthen PML-N’s ties in the region.
Sources indicate that Nawaz Sharif anticipates major political families joining PML-N during his visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, underscoring the importance of internal unity for the party’s growth and success in the respective provinces.
