Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki will appear in the renowned Netflix series ‘The Crown’. She will play Diana, Princess of Wales, in the final two seasons.
She will take over from the fourth season’s Emma Corrin. The fourth season is likely to be released this autumn.
The Royal drama is likely to cover the eras of the 1990s and 2000s.
Debicki said in a statement, “Princess Diana’s spirit, her words, and her actions live in the hearts of so many”.
“It is my true privilege and honor to be joining this masterful series, which has had me absolutely hooked from episode one.”

Elizabeth Debicki is famous for her roles in movies including The Great Gatsby and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.
The final two seasons of ‘The Crown’ will cover the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother, seven weeks apart in 2002, and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee that summer.
‘The crown’ is based on an award-winning play (The authentic). This series portrays the life of Queen Elizabeth II from the 1940s to modern times. The series reflects the insight of the queen’s tenure. The first episode of the series was released in 2016.
The amazing series has achieved Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series whereas it was nominated for Emmy awards as well.
