In a significant development, the Sindh Education Department has opted to remove the prohibition on hiring teachers, aligning with recent decisions by the Sindh cabinet. This decision to lift the ban on teacher recruitment in Sindh brings welcome news for individuals aspiring to join the education sector in the province.

As per the Education Department’s spokesperson, the recruitment process for Primary School Teachers (PST) and Junior School Teachers (JST) will now be managed through the IBCC Sukkur. This decision presents opportunities for qualified candidates to play a role in shaping the educational landscape of Sindh.

Sardar Shah, the Sindh Education Minister, stressed the importance of candidates preparing necessary documentation. He indicated that announcements regarding teacher recruitment will be made after the Eid holidays, advising candidates to submit their documents to the respective District Education Officer (DEO) for a streamlined process.

This development signifies a positive stride towards addressing staffing requirements in primary and junior elementary schools across Sindh, ensuring access to quality education and enabling skilled teachers to contribute significantly to the region.
