This week, Karachi, Hyderabad, and parts of Sindh are expected to experience rainfall of varying intensities, according to forecasts from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

A westerly wave is anticipated to enter western Pakistan on Tuesday evening/night, gradually affecting most areas by April 17 (Wednesday).

As a result of this weather system, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are predicted in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jamshoro, and Sanghar from Wednesday night to April 19.

On Wednesday and Thursday, Karachi’s maximum temperatures are forecasted to range between 30-32 degrees Celsius, while Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures are expected to be between 31-33 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and 32-34 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

Dry weather predominated in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most of Sindh in the preceding 24 hours. Dadu and Nawabshah registered the highest temperatures in the province at 36 degrees Celsius.

Relative humidity in Dadu and Nawabshah was measured at 54 percent and 73 percent, respectively, during the morning. Karachi recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 84 percent in the morning.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature reached 32 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 72 percent.
