Islamabad: The majority of the country is expected to experience predominantly warm and arid conditions today. However, sporadic rainfall is anticipated across upper and central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The federal capital Islamabad and its environs are forecast to experience partly overcast skies with intermittent rain showers and blustery winds throughout the day.

The plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will largely remain dry and hot, while districts including Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, and Battagram are likely to witness intermittent precipitation.

Additional rainfall is forecasted for Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, and Mohmand, where localized showers may occur.

Potohar Plateau, Murree, Galiyat, and adjoining areas are expected to experience scattered showers accompanied by gusty winds and thunderstorm activity.

In the northwestern belt, encompassing Kohat, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Khyber, Orakzai, Hangu, and Kurram, brief spells of rain with strong winds and thunder are probable.

Lower Sindh regions such as Dadu, Badin, Mithi, Mirpurkhas, and Hyderabad are also likely to see isolated rain showers.

Coastal and nearby zones including Karachi, Sajawal, and Thatta will witness partly cloudy skies with chances of dust storms, gusty winds, and occasional rainfall.
