When would the government release the federal budget for 2022-2023?

The federal authorities on Friday introduced the agenda for the submission of the federal price range for the upcoming fiscal year 2022-23.

The Annual Budget for FY23, together with the Finance Bill 2022, is scheduled to be offered in the National Assembly on Friday, the tenth of June 2022.

“Prime Minister [Shehbaz Sharif] has been thrilled to approve the timetable of submission of the price range for FY2022-23, inside the National Assembly and its transmission to the Senate of Pakistan,” the notification issued by using the Finance Division read.

The Finance Division for this reason asked that a special finances meeting of the Federal Cabinet may be convened for the attention of the budgetary proposals.

“The venue and time for the special budget meeting of the Cabinet may also be communicated,” the notification read.
