  • Two former Tesla employees have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. electric car company alleging its decision to carry out a “mass layoff” violated federal law.
  • The lawsuit was filed late Sunday in Texas by two workers who said they were terminated from Tesla’s Nevada plant.

Previous Tesla Inc workers have documented a claim against the U.S. electric vehicle organization claiming its choice to complete a “mass layoff” disregarded government regulation as the organization didn’t give early notification of the gig cuts.

The claim was recorded late Sunday in Texas by two specialists who said they were ended from Tesla’s gigafactory plant in Sparks, Nevada in June. As indicated by the suit, in excess of 500 workers were ended at the Nevada manufacturing plant.

The specialists claim the organization neglected to comply with government regulations on mass cutbacks that require a 60-day notice period under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, as indicated by the claim.

“Tesla has just informed the workers that their terminations would be taking effect right now,” the objection said.

She said Tesla is offering a few workers only a multi-week of severance, adding that she is setting up a crisis movement with a court to attempt to hinder Tesla from attempting to get set free from representatives in return for only a multi-week of severance.

The suit was documented in the U.S. Region Court, Western District of Texas.
