A government judge in California on Monday requested another preliminary on the harm Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) owes to a Black previous assembly line laborer who blamed the organization for race separation after he turned down a $15 million honor.

U.S. Locale Judge William Orrick in San Francisco conceded Tesla’s movement for another preliminary seven days after the previous lift administrator, Owen Diaz, said he wouldn’t acknowledge the adjudicator’s honor.

Tesla and attorneys for Diaz didn’t quickly answer demands for input.

A jury last October had granted Diaz $137 million, perhaps the biggest decision ever in a segregation case including a solitary specialist. Orrick in April said Tesla was responsible to Diaz for separation, however, he said the honor was unreasonable and brought it down to $15 million.

Diaz’s attorneys said last week that the lower grant was shameful and sabotaged his protected privileges.

Orrick didn’t mark the calendar for the new preliminary, yet booked a gathering for July 12.

In his 2017 claim, Diaz asserted that his partners and a boss at Tesla’s Fremont, California, gathering plant exposed him to a threatening workplace that included bigoted slurs, exaggerations, and insignias.
