2023 Honda Accord Teases Sleek New Look

The redesigned Honda Accord will be available for the 2023 model year, marking the 11th generation of the popular nameplate, which has been in continuous production since 1976. The teaser images show that the new Accord will have a smoother design that will fit right in with Honda’s newer offerings, such as the Civic compact car and the upcoming Prologue electric SUV.

The new design’s sleek lines are highlighted by bright LED lighting elements, while an elongated hexagonal grille features a handsome triangle-motif insert. The Accord’s taillights span nearly the entire width of the vehicle, with the exception of a small interruption in the middle of the trunk lid to accommodate a small Honda logo.

A graphic depicting the hybrid powertrain of the 2023 Accord can be found on the 12.3-inch infotainment display. We previously reported that Honda intends to increase Accord hybrid sales, so we’re not surprised to see the electrified powertrain promoted in these teaser images.

Honda hasn’t released any information about the Accord’s powertrains, and while it’s clear that the company is emphasizing the hybrid, we still expect a nonhybrid powertrain to be the entry-level option. It could be the same turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine as the current model, or it could be the more powerful turbo 2.0-liter engine found in the current Accord Sport. The current Accord Hybrid is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that produce 181 horsepower, but it could get the hybrid system from the 2023 CR-V SUV, which has a turbocharged engine that produces 204 horsepower.

It’s no secret that the Honda Accord is one of our favorite vehicles, having won our annual 10Best award 36 times over the years. The Accord’s balanced driving demeanor, combined with stellar value and excellent build quality, has previously impressed our editors.

Needless to say, we have high hopes for the 2023 model and are looking forward to learning more about the new generation. But, like everyone else, we’ll have to wait until November 2022 to see the rest of the car.

Expected Price of  2023 Honda Accord

The Honda Accord Touring is expected to come out in Pakistan in December 2022. The price is expected to be between $35,600 and $45,600.
