Businessmen welcome Motiwala’s appointment as TDAP chief
The business community has greeted Muhammad Zubair Motiwala for his appointment as the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) chief executive, a statement said.
Businessmen, including Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Senior Vice President Muhammad Suleman Chawla; Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) President Muhammad Tariq Yousuf; BMG Vice Chairman and KCCI former president Anjum Nisar; PHMA Patron-in-Chief Jawed Bilwani; BMG General Secretary A.Q. Khalil; FPCCI former vice president Maqsood Ismail; Pakistan Cotton Fashion Apparel Association former chairman Javed Akhtar; KCCI former presidents Muhammad Idrees; Shariq Vohra; Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan; Junaid Makda; Younus Muhammad Bashir; SITE Association of Industry President Riazuddin; KCCI Senior Vice President Tauseef Ahmed; KCCI Vice President Haris Agar; Saleem Parekh, Abdul Hadi (former president of the SITE Association of Industry); Hussain Mosani, vice president of SITE Association of Industry and various former office-bearers of other trade organisations of Karachi welcomed the decision.
The business community expressed their pleasure and welcomed the appointment of Motiwala and discussed the way forward to enhance the overall national exports of the country.
They assured their full support and cooperation and pledged for joint efforts to resolve the issues of the business community.
On this occasion, Motiwala assured all the best possible assistance and facilitation by the TDAP to achieve the common objectives.
He also said that he and his office would always remain available for support and facilitation of the business community.
