Al-Jomaih group illegally takes over K-Electric with only 9% shares
KARACHI: The K-Electric Limited (KEL) will undertake a critical maintenance activity at Airport-1 and Korangi Town grids on Sunday, December 18, to ensure the stability and reliability of the power supply to the consumers residing in these areas, a statement said on Saturday.
The activity will require a shutdown from 7:30am to 12:30pm during which the areas associated with the grids may experience a temporary supply interruption, the power utility added.
All the customers registered on 8119 have been informed about this maintenance shutdown via SMS in advance. For further guidance, the customers may also reach out to K-Electric’s social media platforms or via call centre 118.
