Pakistan’s cement sales jump 10.33% in August 2025
The average price of cement saw a slight decrease of 0.48 percent, maintaining stability over the past week. Pakistan Bureau of Statistics data reveals that in the northern regions, the average price per bag of cement was Rs 1221 by the week ending February 1, a 0.48% decrease compared to the previous week’s Rs 1227.
Similarly, in the southern regions, the average price per sack remained unchanged at Rs 1188 for the week ending February 1, the same as the previous week.
In specific cities, the average prices per sack of cement are as follows: Islamabad and Rawalpindi at Rs 1187, Gujranwala at Rs 1260, Sialkot at Rs 1267, Lahore at Rs 1280, Faisalabad at Rs 1240, Sargodha at Rs 1212, Multan at Rs 1228, Bahawalpur at Rs 1240, Peshawar at Rs 1180, and Bannu at Rs 1150.
Similarly, in Karachi, the average price per sack is Rs 1172, Hyderabad Rs 1180, Sukkur Rs 1250, Larkana Rs 1173, Quetta Rs 1205, and Khuzdar Rs 1150.
Overall, the cement market shows stability with minimal fluctuations in prices across various regions of Pakistan.
