Pakistan is witnessing a consistent decline in inflation rates, with a slight decrease observed last week.

Federal Bureau of Statistics data shows a 0.78 percent reduction in weekly inflation and an annual rate decrease to 34.25 percent. Among 22 items, prices rose, while 11 items saw decreases and 18 remained stable.

During the recent week, prices surged for various commodities, including potatoes (2.80%), matchboxes (1.31%), energy savers (0.62%), dal mash (0.35%), lentils (0.56%), and mutton (0.56%).

Conversely, there were notable increases in egg prices (28.82%), tomatoes (0.29%), onions (3.48%), chicken (4.23%), flour (0.32%), LPG (2.85%), lentils (0.28%), and mustard oil (0.18%).

Despite these fluctuations, the overall trend suggests a positive trajectory in inflation rates, providing some relief to consumers amidst economic uncertainties.

This ongoing decline in inflation rates reflects efforts to stabilize prices and improve economic conditions nationwide.
