Big drop in ghee prices in Pakistan
Utility Stores Corporation has announced a reduction in the price of subsidized ghee by Rs 18 per kilogram.
According to a spokesperson, registered families under the Benazir Income Support Program (PMT 40) will now be able to purchase ghee at Rs 375 per kg, down from Rs 393 per kg.
This price cut is aimed at providing financial relief to the program’s beneficiaries.
Additionally, general consumers will also benefit from this reduction, with the price now set at Rs 445 per kg, previously Rs 463 per kg.
The new prices have been implemented immediately, making essential commodities more affordable for all customers.
This move is part of the Corporation’s ongoing efforts to support low-income families and provide essential items at subsidized rates.
