Massive Increase in Solar Panel Prices

Solar panel prices in Lahore are rebounding, prompting concern among consumers. Market reports reveal a surge of Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 in the cost of 7 to 15 kilowatt systems, with an increase of 6 rupees per kilowatt.

The price hikes affect various system sizes significantly. For instance, a 7 kW system now costs around eight and a half lakh rupees, up by Rs 25,000.

Similarly, the 10 kW system has risen to Rs 1.2 million and the 12 kW system to Rs 1.45 million, reflecting increases of Rs 50,000.

The 15-kW system has reached Rs 1.6 million post-surge. These prices apply to on-grid solar systems. Consumers considering hybrid systems with batteries should consider additional battery costs.
