Expected petrol prices in Pakistan from June 16
KARACHI: Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are anticipated to drop following a decrease in global crude oil prices.
Reports from a private TV channel indicate a $5.14 reduction in petrol prices worldwide, with the global market price now standing at $89 per barrel.
Consequently, Pakistan is expected to witness a decrease of approximately 12 rupees per liter in petrol prices.
Similarly, diesel prices have also seen a decline of $4 globally, with the current world market price at $93.88 per barrel.
This reduction is likely to translate to a decrease of around 8 rupees and 45 paise per liter in Pakistan.
This recent adjustment follows a trend of falling prices since April 16, with petrol witnessing a reduction of 24 rupees per liter and diesel dropping by 20 rupees per liter during this period.
The decrease in petroleum product prices is expected to provide relief to consumers, easing their financial burden and contributing to a reduction in overall living costs.
