Toyota Corolla FX 2025 Special Edition Unveiled in Pakistan!

Toyota announced the inclusion of the new Corolla FX Sport Edition in its 2025 lineup, paying homage to its popular hot hatch from 1987. This sedan features a refreshed appearance and some updated features, enhancing its sporty appeal without any changes to performance.

New Toyota Corolla: Exterior Updates

The Corolla has long been known for its affordability and practicality, making it a popular choice. The new model, announced in an SE trim, adds a touch of sportiness. It features stylish 18-inch wheels that highlight its sleek satin-black finish. Other enhancements include black mirror caps, a rear spoiler, aggressive bumpers, lowered springs, and blackened badges, all contributing to its improved aesthetics.

Engine and Performance

Despite drawing inspiration from the speedy vibes of the 1987 FX16 hot hatch, the new sedan doesn’t receive any performance upgrades. It retains the same 2-liter, 4-cylinder engine paired with a CVT gearbox. This configuration delivers a respectable power output of 169 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, maintaining its performance characteristics.

Upgraded Interior

What stands out to me is the distinctive dark interior theme, a departure from Corolla’s usual style. The cabin boasts Moonstone sport fabric with orange stitching, adding a touch of flair. The upcoming Corolla will feature a 10.5-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch digital cluster panel. It will also include a wireless charging pad and electric power steering. Additionally, the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 ADAS suite has been incorporated for a comprehensive and safe driving experience.

Pricing and delivery

Toyota has not disclosed details about the pricing of the new sporty version yet. However, deliveries are set to begin in the fall of this year. The sedan will offer three color options for customers to choose from: Midnight Black, Ice Cap (white), and Underground (grey), providing a range of stylish choices for this anticipated budget-friendly model.
