Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant increase on Wednesday, reflecting the upward trend in the international market.
According to the Sarafa Association, the per tola price surged by Rs2,300, reaching Rs252,800. Similarly, the price for 10 grams rose by Rs1,972, settling at Rs216,735.
This rise in gold prices is attributed to a $22 increase in the international market, pushing the price per ounce to $2,413 due to a surge in demand.
Meanwhile, silver prices in Pakistan remained unchanged, with per tola trading at Rs2,920 and 10 grams at Rs2,503.42.
Just a day earlier, gold prices had decreased, with per tola dropping by Rs500 to Rs250,500 and 10 grams declining by Rs429 to Rs214,763, according to the Sarafa Association.
