New Tariff Rates: Calculate Your Lesco Electricity Bill – July 2024
Electricity consumers within the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) area are expected to face higher bills starting in July 2024.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) plans to increase the base tariff by Rs5.72 to Rs35.50 per unit, with an additional Rs3.41 per unit added for fuel cost adjustment.
Under these new proposals, both protected and non-protected consumers will face extra taxes and surcharges.
If any Lesco customer uses more than 200 units in a month, their protected status will switch to non-protected, resulting in significantly higher electricity bills.
The protected status can be reinstated after six months if monthly consumption drops below 200 units.
