Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan Expected to Rise Up from November 16
ISLAMABAD – Petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan are expected to rise by up to Rs6 per litre in the upcoming fortnightly review for November 2024.
The Finance Division is set to announce the revised prices before midnight, with citizens bracing for the second increase this month. In addition to motor spirit (MS) petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), prices of other petroleum products like Light Diesel Oil (LDO) and kerosene oil are also anticipated to go up.
According to sources, petrol prices may increase by Rs2.50 per litre, bringing the cost to Rs251 per litre, while HSD prices could see a hike of Rs6, reaching Rs261 per litre.
POLs | Price |
Petrol | 248.38 |
Diesel | 255.14 |

Diesel | 260-261 |
These proposed adjustments are attributed to fluctuations in the global oil market, where the prices of MS and diesel have risen. Additionally, the import premium for petrol has surged by approximately $1 per barrel, further driving domestic price changes.
