Gold Rate in Pakistan on Jan 3 up by Rs2,200 to Rs276,900/Tola

ISLAMABAD: The price of 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs2,200 per tola, reaching Rs276,900 on Friday, compared to Rs274,700 recorded on the previous trading day, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,886 to Rs237,397 from Rs235,511, while the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up to Rs217,614 from Rs215,885.

The prices of silver per tola and 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs3,350 and Rs2,872.08, respectively.

In the international market, gold prices also climbed by $22, reaching $2,657 per ounce compared to the prior rate of $2,635, as reported by the Association.
