LPG price decreased in Pakistan

OGRA announced small decrease in LPG prices and issued official notification with new rates.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a small decrease in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices and issued an official notification with the new rates.

According to the notification, the price of LPG has been reduced by Rs0.21 per kilogram, bringing the new rate to Rs225.84 per kg. After this change, the price of an 11.8-kg domestic LPG cylinder has dropped by Rs2.52 and will now cost Rs2,664.88. Officials said the revised prices will be implemented across the country under the latest pricing formula.

LPG is commonly used for cooking and business purposes in areas where natural gas is not available. Its prices are adjusted from time to time based on market calculations approved by the regulator.

Earlier, on January 31, 2026, OGRA had increased LPG prices by Rs6.37 per kg nationwide. After that increase, the price was set at Rs226.6 per kg. The cost of an 11.8-kg domestic cylinder had gone up by Rs75.21, raising its price to Rs2,667.40, as stated in the official notification issued at that time.
