KARACHI: Education minister of Sindh, Saeed Ghani said that the schools will reopen from March 16.

According to the details Saeed Gahni said, “The schools shall receive admit cards from the board of secondary education on priority basis in order to hand them over to the students before the examinations commencing from March 16.”

He urged the staff members of both government and private institutions to ensure their presence at school beginning March 9 and to collect the admit cards from the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).

Be clear that the exams of Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will start from March 16.

The minister further announced that the new academic year for 2020-21 in all provincial schools would begin from April 15, while summer vacation will be between May 20 to July 20 for two months.

Coronavirus in Pakistan: School to remain close till 13th march

Earlier, Sindh Education Department has on Tuesday cancelled the registration of 47 private schools for violating governmental instructions.

As per details, Sindh Education Department today suspended the registration of 20 more private schools that were opened.

According to Registrar Rafia Javed, 27 schools canceled yesterday.

Registration of 47 schools has been suspended in remote areas.
