Yasir Hussain’s ‘bad joke’ on Rishi Kapoor’s death

Famous Pakistani actor screenwriter, and host Yasir Hussain has been the center of attention due to his dark humor style. He has made controversial and inappropriate statements and call them ‘jokes’ many times in the past due to which he was criticized, but it seems that Yasir Hussain did not learn from his past mistakes.

The news of the death of Indian actor Rishi Kapoor had saddened his fans all over the world, after which people expressed their grief on social media.

Actor Yasir Hussain also posted a message for Rishi Kapoor on his social media account and expressed his grief.

So far so good, but he later shared a story on his Instagram account and and joked about the death of Rishi Kapoor.

Yasir Hussain wrote in his story that “Amar gone, Akbar gone, now only Anthony remains, probably  singing, my name is Anthony Gonzales Main duniya me akela hoon “.

In his story, Yasir Hussain referred to the successful 1977 Bollywood film ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and also sang its song ‘My Name Is Anthony’.

In this film, actor Vinod Khanna played the role of ‘Amar’, Rishi Kapoor played the role of ‘Akbar’ and Amitabh Bachchan played the role of ‘Anthony’.

Vinod Khanna passed away in 2017 at the age of 70. He was suffering from cancer.

While Rishi Kapoor died in Mumbai on April 30, 2020, he was admitted to the hospital the night before after facing the shortness of breath.

At the end of the story, Yasir Hussain wrote, “I am worried about Amitabh Bachchan now.”

Social media users lambasted Yasir hussain for taking someone’s death as a joke.

A user named Sania wrote in her tweet that “Yasir Hussain is nothing but an insensitive person, death is a joke for him. Fine you’re funny and all but there’s a time and place for everything. Jerk thinks it’s cool.”

Prior to this so many times, Yasir Hussain has been criticized for his such statements.

In 2017, Yasir Hussain was hosting the awards ceremony, during which actor Ahsan Khan received the award for best actor for his role of child molester in drama serial Udari.

When Ahsan Khan came on stage to receive the award, Yasir Hussain passed the comment, “Such an adorable child molester, I wish I was a child.”

Last year, calling actress Haniya Aamir ‘Danedar‘ for her achne issue also cost Yasir Hussain dearly.
