
Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho appointed fashion designer Asim Jofa as an advisor for PPE quality control.
The designer took to his Twitter account to share the good news with his fans and followers. Jofa also thanked the Sindh Government for this opportunity. He wrote,
“Alhamdolillah I have been appointed an advisor for the quality control of PPE by Sindh Minister for the whole province. I am thankful for the opportunity & will do my best in fulfilling this task.”

According to the health department’s letter shared by the designer, the government appreciated him for his “contribution towards participation in providing Personal Protective Equipment for our healthcare worker, who are working as the first line of defense in our fight against COVID-19 in Sindh”.
Asim Jofa was the first designer who volunteered to make PPEs in March.
