Actor Moammar Rana’s mother passes away

Mother of Pakistani filmstar Moammar Rana breathed her last on Sunday.

The news was confirmed by the daughter of Moammar Rana in her Instagram story and informed that her grandmother is no more.

Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan

It should be noted that 2,664 new cases of the novel coronavirus recorded in Pakistan over the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 605,200.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 32 more people died from the virus, taking the death toll to 13,508.

On the other hand, the district administration imposed a smart lockdown in 20 areas of Gujranwala amid a spike in COVID-19 cases in the district. The health department said that the tally of coronavirus patients in the district has reached 393.

Authorities said that all shops in the district will be closed by 6:00 PM except the shops of essential items and medical stores. Moreover, there will be a complete ban on all kinds of gatherings at any place, public or private throughout these areas.
