My mother prioritized education over collecting dowry, Iqra Aziz

Leading Pakistani actress Iqra Aziz said that she lived in an apartment on Burns Road where the kitchen was small and every room didn’t have a bathroom. Despite being from a middle class family, her mother is a grateful woman.

In a recent interview, Iqra Aziz said that her mother wanted her children to get the best. She always prioritized education over collecting dowry for girls.

In the interview, the actress also spoke about her marriage to Yasir Hussain saying, “For Yasir, it was like love at first sight when he met me. I took my precious time to reciprocate with the same energy and love. Within a month of knowing him though, I was sure that
he is the one for me.”

Iqra Aziz said that her first meeting with Yasir was in Toronto after which both of them started spending time more time with each other.
