Yumna Zaidi demands to save football in Pakistan

Yumna Zaidi, one of the most popular actresses in Pakistan’s drama industry, has demanded from the authorities to save football in Pakistan after FIFA warned to suspend Pakistan’s FIFA membership.

Taking to her Instagram story, the actress appealed to the authorities to do something in order to stop the ban on sports.

Yumna Zaidi wrote, “Sports are essential to a society to remain healthy, provide us with the heroes we so desperately need to look up to and represent our country.”

“At present the current Pakistan woman’s football team seems to be going through a host of issues and I want to appeal to whoever is listening to pls help them we need this… we need them to shine.”

FIFA had warned that if the control of the Pakistan Football Federation was not given to the normalization committee formed by FIFA, then Pakistan’s FIFA membership could be suspended.

Hajra Khan, a football star also expressed her views and disappointment pertaining to the current situation.
