Emma Watson breaks silence on rubbishes engagement rumours

American actress Emma Watson shut down engagement rumours circulating with boyfriend Leo Robinton.

The 32-year-old actress who rarely have social media interactions, raise her voice and returned to social media for the first time in nine months on Monday to clear up many rumours circulating about her engagement and her career.

The Harry Potter film series actress broke her silence on Twitter to seemingly address recent rumours that she and boyfriend Leo Robinton are newly engaged.

“Dear Fans, rumours about whether I’m engaged or not, or whether my career is “dormant or not” are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue,” she said in a tweet

She further said, “In the mean time please assume no news from me just means I’m quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people.”
